Structurally, due to excessive facial expressions or over the years, there may be serious wrinkles on the forehead and a deep line in the middle of the eyebrow. This situation gives the person a tired facial expression with drooping eyebrows and also an angry expression due to the deep line between the eyebrows.

Before the surgery, a detailed interview and examination is made, blood tests, heart electrocardiography and lung x-ray are taken, and the approval of the anesthesiologist is obtained.

The surgery is performed in a full-fledged hospital under general anesthesia (full sleep) and the surgery takes approximately 2 hours.

During the surgery, the forehead skin is freed from the underlying tissues by making an incision at the hairline border or inside the hair. Particularly, the muscles located between both eyebrows and forming a deep line in the middle of the eyebrow are removed as a part, the eyebrow is lifted along with it and the excess skin is cut off.

The patient can eat, drink and talk 4-6 hours after the surgery, can eat, drink and take care of himself on the same day, can walk after eating and is discharged the next day. The patient applies cold around the eyes for at least two days.

There may be swelling and bruising in the surgery area for about a week, the stitches are removed after a week, and the patient can work or return to normal life after a week.

After forehead lift surgery, the scar is almost invisible since the incision is within the hair or at the scalp hair border.
