After birth, there may be structural deformations in the genital area over the years, and the following problems may occur in these patients:
- Sagging and redness of the labia minora
- Fading in the labia majora
- Vaginal enlargement
- Growth in the clitoris
Wherever the problem is, action is taken for that area.
It is important to have a detailed interview and examination before the surgery, to reveal the problem in detail and to find a solution to the problem. Again, before the surgery, blood tests, heart electrocardiography and lung x-ray are taken, and the approval of the anesthesiologist is obtained.
The surgery is performed in a full-fledged hospital under general anesthesia (full sleep). Depending on the condition of the problem, the surgery takes approximately 1 to 3 hours.
If there is excess and sagging in the labia minora, this excess and sagging part is removed,
If there is sagging in the labia majora, fat injection is performed.
If there is enlargement in the vagina, the part is removed and narrowed.
If there is excess in the clitoris, this excess is removed.
The patient is allowed to eat 4-6 hours after the surgery, can eat, drink and take care of himself on the same day, can walk after eating, is hospitalized and discharged for a day, and can return to his normal life in about a week.
No stitches are removed during the surgery, as the threads dissolve and fall out on their own. Since the healing of the genital area skin is very fast and good, the scar is not visible at all.
