Looseness and sagging may occur in the inner thigh (popularly known as the inner leg) after excessive weight loss or structurally.
There are two problems in such patients
- Fat in the thigh (inner leg),
- Excess and sagging skin in the thigh (inner leg).
Before the surgery, a detailed interview and examination is made, blood tests, heart electrocardiography and lung x-ray are taken, and the approval of the anesthesiologist is obtained.
The surgery is performed in a full-fledged hospital under general anesthesia (full sleep). The surgery takes approximately 2-3 hours. During the surgery, excess fat is first removed by liposuction, then if the sagging is mild, only the groin area is removed, or if the sagging is severe, the excess skin is removed by making an incision in the groin and inner thigh (leg), extending from the groin to the inner knee.
The patient is dressed in a special corset after the surgery, is fed 4-6 hours after the surgery, and can eat, drink and take care of himself on the same day, and can walk with small steps after eating. The patient is hospitalized for one or two days and discharged. He can be washed two days after the discharge date, no dressing is applied, and no stitches are removed because dissolvable stitches are used.
Absolute rest for 7-10 days is recommended, he can start his business life and daily activities after 10-15 days, and he must wear a special corset for about 1 month.
